A band of two brothers and a friend. They formed in summer of 2007 and, by the end of the same year, released a quickly recorded and produced EP named "Silent Bird" on their own label Cheap Tunes Records. Time passed, the band played a decent amount of shows throughout the countries of former Yugoslavia, and in 2009 they unleashed their creative potential and recorded their debut album "Alain, I'm Sorry". Gatefold covers of the LP were glued together by ourselves and huge help of friends and grand parents.

Their first European tour takes place in the spring of 2010, with doom techno duo Hexenbrutal. Later that year, new LP is recorded live during one weekend in FVN, underground place somewhere in Ljubljana. Two short tours are played in the next month: ex-Yugoslavia and England (with Shield Your Eyes)

The new LP is released in the spring of 2011. It's called "Our World Died Yesterday" and released by Radio Student, Moonlee and Cheap Tunes.

The lyrics are written by all three of us and generally talk about women. We are not a political band.

What others say:

"Raw mess of a rock that will leave you with a headache or a smile - or even both" (13.brat)

"One of the most interesting noise bands around here ..." (Potlista)

"Noisy, shrieking glory ..." (Hammer Of Hope)

"Nikki Louder shake serious noise ..." (Rockonnet)

"Sweet moments are followed by walls of thunder ..." (Addicted to Nothing)

"Fairly messy hardcore/math/noise hybrid ..." (I heart noise)

"The power of a tsunami ..." (RSQ)

THE KOJN, Noise Rock, Punk (Slo)

The Kojn is a fairly new Slovenian duo with Marko on guitar / vocals and Miha on drums / vocals. Guys used to play in a lo-fi punk band called Schnaps and released one album, called Denar, kurbe & pralni stroj (Money, whores & washing machine) through the label Cheap Tunes in 2009. After some time Schnaps became history and it was time for unleashing a fast and aggressive horse, called the Kojn. They play very abrasive and raw kind of noise punk with short and energetic songs.

They are just before releasing their first record in spring of 2012 so don't miss the chance to see them live!
